Hardcore players know all about the nukes hidden within the Warzone bunkers, but they haven’t been used since they were introduced to the battle royale game. Judging by the latest rumours, the nukes may be the key to Verdansk’s revamp.
Raven Software and Infinity Ward, the game’s developers, have made an effort to tie together the stories from the Cold War campaign, Zombies, and Warzone. Verdansk is based on Modern Warfare’s campaign and is currently 37 years ahead of the Cold War timeline. There is a chance the next Warzone map will take players back in time to sync up all three modes.
