West Ham have confirmed Craig Dawson will join the club permanently at the end of the season.
The defender is on loan from Watford and is enjoying a fine campaign. The Hammers currently sit fourth in the Premier League, with Dawson playing a prominent role in getting them there.
After coming into the side at the end of December, he has not missed a single second of league action, also chipping in with three goals.

We are delighted to confirm that Craig Dawson will join the Club on a permanent basis at the end of the 2020/21 season ✍️— West Ham United (@WestHam) April 6, 2021
His form has been enough to convince West Ham to sign him permanently at the end of the season, with Dawson revealing his delight at the news.
"Coming to West Ham has been a great move for myself, and it is a privilege to play for a club with such rooted traditions. The squad has a real togetherness, team spirit and great quality. I’m excited for what my future at the club may hold and the potential for what we as a club can go on to achieve," he said in an interview with the club's website.
Manager David Moyes added: "Craig's performances, attitude and the impact he’s had demonstrate why he deserves a permanent deal. He arrived with a wealth of Premier League experience and that's been really important to us.

"He had to be patient but he’s come in and grabbed his opportunity with both hands. We are always looking to improve the squad and Craig joining us permanently certainly does that."
West Ham have been the Premier League's surprise package this season and stand a real chance of securing a top four finish with eight games left to play. Last time out they registered an important 3-2 win over Wolves which moved them above fifth placed Chelsea.
The Hammers also have a favourable run-in, facing just one team that are currently above them before the end of the season.
